Dear Grandma, Thanks for writing to me at school. I always struggled to read your handwriting but it made your long letters last still longer. Thank you for looking after me in early 2000. You were still in your prime, and we saw off the winter together. I remember digging out the vegetable plots and fixing the shed (which outlasted you, barely). I was lucky to have you to myself for those few short months. It was great. You were the beating heart of Moiron, I cannot imagine it without your warmth. xx
